YFQ-44Aの地上試験
YFQ-44Aの地上試験は、協調戦闘機（CCA：collaborative combat aircraft）開発の主要なマイルストーンの1つです。
地上試験では、次の点に注目した評価が行われます。
- 推進システム（propulsion systems）
- アビオニクス
- 自律統合（autonomy integration）
- 地上制御インターフェース（ground control interfaces）
これらの評価結果により、今年後半の飛行試験にむけての準備が進められます。

2025年5月1日に、米国空軍のWebサイトに公開されたYFQ-44Aの写真をみていきます。
General Atomics社製のYFQ-42Aの公開情報はまだないようです。
下図は、YFQ-44Aの全体形状が分かる写真です。
- 下図の場所は、後方のトンネルからエンジン試験ができる試験室のようです。
- コクピットは無い分、ステルス機よりもステルス性に有利な形状です。
